Spirit of a Space
To capture the essence of a space… to interpret its Spirit is the real task. To render the true sparkle of a chandelier… or the sunlight streaming through silken drapes… perhaps this can only be mastered by the stoke of an artist’s brush.
Artist Jeremiah Goodman sees the life of a room dance across his easel and somehow manages to capture it in quick, instinctive strokes.
One look at his impressionistic paintings and the heart longs to linger in those spaces… romantic, mysterious and somehow effervescent….

Mr. Goodman produced the cover art for Interior Design magazine for 15 years. He was born in 1922 in upstate New York and currently lives and paints in Manhattan, according to his Facebook page (yes, he’s 90 years old and on Facebook!).
Artist signed, limited edition giclée prints (shown above) are available through London-based Dean Ryhs Morgan.
